3D Brain Mapping for Mental Disorders

3D Brain Mapping technique was first applied in 1994. In recent years, 3D Brain Mapping techniques for psychiatric disorders became more essential. 


3D Brain Mapping first starts with EEG shooting. Then, brain waves between 1-40 Hz were analyzed with QEEG (Quantitative EEG). The program compares the data of people with no complaints and normal neuropsychiatric tests and the individual being evaluated. The wave frequencies of the brain are measured and 3D Brain Mapping is applied. Activity of nerve cells and nerve conduction are viewed in 3D with S-LORETA. Being applied of these shootings provides analyses of EEG and MEG (Magnetoencephalography) and 3D Brain Mapping images are obtained.


While imaging the brain, 3D Brain Mapping analyzes the working features of brain, blood supply, blood stream, the symmetry, the defected functions of the brain and brain regions.       


3D Brain Mapping is used for children to diagnose Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Retardation, and Asperger Syndrome. This method will be used more widely for diagnose.


3D Brain Mapping is very enlightening to diagnose neuropsychiatric disorders of young people and adults such as Depression, Panic Attack, Drug Use, Anorexia and Bulimia Nervosa, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Alzheimer Disease, Dementia, Head Traumas, Celebral Hemorrhage, and Stroke.


3D Brain Mapping is one of the improved technological methods to diagnose, strengthen the diagnosis, measure and evaluate the treatment results. 3D images are compared before and after the treatment of many psychiatric disorder and they are evaluated quantitatively. This provides the choosing the appropriate treatment, and making right decisions for continuation and ending of the treatment.
